Can I order custom wallpaper designs?

While we are happy to update the color and/or scale of a piece, we aren’t able to take on more than a few complete custom projects per year. If you want to match a specific paint color or nursery decor, reach out through our contact page to get started.

Is your wallpaper safe for nurseries and children's rooms?

All Rose Lindo wallpapers are non-toxic and printed with water-based inks that make them safe for nurseries, children's bedrooms, and playrooms. We design with families in mind, so you can feel confident about what goes on your walls.

What is the turnaround time for wallpaper orders?

All wallpapers are printed to order. Production typically takes one to two weeks, after which your order is shipped directly to you. Shipping times vary by location, but our printing partners are committed to timely delivery.

Can I use wallpaper on textured walls?

Removable peel-and-stick & pre-pasted wallpaper works best on smooth surfaces. For heavily textured walls, we recommend applying a skim coat or drywall compound to smooth the surface before installation. This ensures proper adhesion and a clean finish.

Can I install wallpaper on newly painted walls?

We recommend waiting at least 30 days after painting before installing wallpaper. This allows the paint to fully cure and off-gas, which ensures the adhesive bonds properly to the wall.

What is the difference between peel-and-stick and pre-pasted wallpaper?

Peel-and-stick wallpaper requires no water or paste. Simply peel away the backing and apply directly to the wall. Pre-pasted wallpaper uses a water-activated adhesive, meaning you wet the backing to activate the glue before hanging. Both are straightforward to install and come with detailed instructions.

Do your wallpapers work in bathrooms or high-moisture areas?

For high-moisture areas such as bathrooms with showers, we highly recommend using vinyl wallpaper & a professional installer, as this material is water-resistant & extra durable. Pre-pasted & peel and stick papers are great for powder rooms but don’t hold up as well in high-moisture areas. If you are unsure whether wallpaper is right for your space, ordering a sample first is always a good idea before committing to full rolls.

Do I need to hire a professional to install the wallpaper?

Our peel and stick and pre-pasted papers are DIY-friendly, but we recommend hiring a professional for vinyl installations. Every order comes with detailed instructions, so you will receive step-by-step guidance as you go. While a little patience goes a long way, no prior wallpaper experience is required for pre-pasted & peel and stick.

How much wallpaper do I need?

Use our wallpaper calculator to estimate the right number of rolls for your space. Start by measuring the height of your wall in inches and round up to the nearest roll length. Then take the full width of your wall in inches and divide by 24 inches to determine how many rolls you need. If you are covering multiple connected walls, add the widths together before dividing. Do you offer refunds?

Because all wallpapers and fabrics are printed to order, we are not able to offer refunds on custom printed items. We strongly recommend ordering a wallpaper sample first to confirm the color, scale, and surface compatibility before placing a full order.
